Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 June 2026

These terms set out the basis on which Kinfold provides its workshops, organising sessions, and membership. Please take a moment to read them. By booking or attending any session, you agree to what is described here. If you have questions, you are always welcome to reach out before making a booking.

1. About Kinfold

Kinfold is a Bangkok-based organisation that offers family communication workshops, household records organising sessions, and a peer learning membership. Our address is 256 Thanon Yaowarat, Samphanthawong, Bangkok 10100. You can reach us at [email protected] or by phone at +66 85 263 9417.

2. Nature of Our Services

Everything Kinfold provides is general education and practical skill-building in nature. Our sessions are designed to help families explore communication approaches, gather documents they already hold, and connect with others through a supportive peer community.

Kinfold does not provide individual professional advice, counselling, mediation, legal, financial, or any other regulated service. Facilitators are not licensed practitioners in any clinical, legal, or therapeutic field. Nothing shared in a session should be taken as advice about your specific personal or family circumstances.

Where personal situations require professional input, we encourage you to consult appropriately qualified professionals or the relevant official bodies in Thailand.

3. Booking and Payment

Bookings are made by contacting us through the enquiry form on our website or directly by phone or email. A booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from our team.

Fees are as follows:

Payment details will be provided in your booking confirmation. Prices are quoted in Thai Baht and are subject to change. We will always confirm the applicable fee before you commit to a booking.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as early as possible by contacting us at [email protected] or by phone.

Cancellations made more than 72 hours before a scheduled session can usually be rescheduled without charge. For cancellations made within 72 hours, a rescheduling fee may apply at our discretion. We will always try to find an arrangement that works for you.

If Kinfold needs to cancel a session for any reason, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer an alternative date or a full refund of any amount paid for that session.

5. Conduct During Sessions

Our workshops are a shared space for respectful learning. We ask all participants to treat fellow attendees with consideration, listen without interruption, and keep personal details shared by others within the session confidential.

Kinfold reserves the right to ask a participant to leave a session if their behaviour is disruptive or disrespectful to others, without a refund.

6. Household Records Organising

The Household Records Organising Session is an administrative and practical organising service only. We help families arrange documents they already hold — such as certificates, agreements, and household references — into an organised folder or filing system.

We do not verify the legal validity of any document, provide legal interpretation, or offer advice on document management decisions. Any questions about the legal standing of a document should be directed to a qualified legal professional.

7. Membership

The Family Learning Membership provides monthly access to workshop sessions, printable conversation guides, and the peer community. Membership is billed monthly. You may cancel at any time by notifying us in writing at least 7 days before your next billing date. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Kinfold reserves the right to amend membership content and pricing. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change, giving you the opportunity to cancel before it takes effect.

8. Intellectual Property

All guides, worksheets, materials, and content provided by Kinfold are for personal use only. You may not reproduce, share publicly, or resell any Kinfold materials without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Kinfold's sessions are educational in nature and participation is voluntary. We do not accept responsibility for decisions made by participants based on what is discussed in a session. Our total liability for any claim arising from a session is limited to the fee paid for that session.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for any matter where limitation is not permitted by law.

10. Personal Data

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Thai law, including the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562. Please read our Privacy Policy for full details of how we collect, use, and protect your information.

11. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to help it function properly and to understand how visitors use it. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you have any questions about a change, please contact us before booking.
